The on-line National Graves Registration Database is a free, searchable resource dedicated to locating and registering information about the final resting places of all Civil War veterans who fought to preserve the Union. Within the SUVCW, many camps and departments have worked on this project for over 30 years. In that time, volunteers including the SUVCW as well as other individuals and organizations have contributed to the National Graves Registration Database resulting in Ohio having nearly 100,000 Union veteran burials registered.
